The range of Actionpac Electro-Mechanical Standard (EMS) control panels are designed for the control and monitoring of either Mode 5 (24V) or Mode 6 (230V) PTC damper actuators in groups of 15 or 30.

Description

The range of Actionpac Electro-Mechanical Standard (EMS) control panels are designed for the control and monitoring of either Mode 5 (24V) or Mode 6 (230V) PTC damper actuators in groups of 15 or 30.

The EMS15-24 and EMS15-230 will control and monitor 15 Smoke fire dampers in one zone.

The EMS30-24 and EMS30-230 will control and monitor 30 Smoke fire dampers in up to two zones.

Actionpac Lite 80 (up to 80) or LNS4 (up to 512) recommended when there are more than 30 smoke/fire dampers to be controlled and monitored. Accessories

DCB - damper connection box for control modes. This can be factory prewired to Control Mode (all voltages).

Construction

  • Dampers control panels are standard manufacture.
  • Wall mount enclosures to IP55. Vinyl overlay facia.
  • Damper Controlled in zones and individually monitored.
  • Top cable gland entry.
  • Fire Interface required per zone.
  • BMS common fault relay output per panel.
  • Screwless cable terminals.
  • Test/Normal/Override keyswitch.
  • Keyswitch mains isolator.
  • Lamp test.
  • Hinged on right.

Specification

The Actionair Actionpac EMS panels are of standard construction for the control and monitoring of Mode 5 or Mode 6 PTC damper actuators in groups of 15 or 30.

Dampers are controlled in zones and monitored individually. Terminals provide for wiring all dampers individually.

The damper status LED indication is provided by indicators PCB?s fitted in the door of the panel enclosure.

Damper locations can be recorded on a printed label fitted inside the enclosure door.

EMS15 provides input terminals to accept 1 Volt free contact interface with the Fire Alarm System. This connection should be Normally Closed (NC) going open circuit to indicate an alarm. EMS 30 provides up to 2 Volt free contacts for up to 15 dampers per zone.

In addition each control panel provides a single output terminal to provide a Volt free contact interface with a BMS. This is a changeover contact, which goes closed circuit to indicate either a non- normal or fault condition.
