The 44th International Boat Show recorded an overall number of 326 thousand visitors. The organisers - Fiera di Genova SpA and UCINA - expressed their great satisfaction with the level reached by the Show, which constantly aims at generating new business - the turnover was one billion Euros - and increasing its appeal, through a wide range of products on display and a calendar of side events capable of attracting a higher and higher number of people to the world of pleasure boating. Some figures clearly highlight the importance of Genoa Boat Show: 1,547 exhibitors were present, over a 288 thousand-square-metre exhibition area; there were 1,987 boats on display, 201 of which in the water in the two equipped marinas, the basins, and at Yacht Club Italiano. Genoa forty fifth International Boat Show will be held from 8 through 16 October 2005. |
Graham Cooper at the METS (Marine Equipment Trade Show) - held at the magnificently appointed RAI Centre in Amsterdam and ran from November 15th to 17th. Graham commented, ‘‘Yet another successful show and a smashing shop window for our products”. |
